#IsThisYoThot? Women Suing 2 Chainz for Putting Her On Blast

!

IsThisYoThot-Tina-3

It looks like rapper 2 Chainz might have a civil case on his hands due to a woman by the name of Tina who claims the rapper ruined her reputation. Damn!

In a video titled ‘#IsThisYoThot’ that went viral earlier this week, we see the woman lurking backstage looking for rapper Cap 1 which she allegedly met through Instagram. Assuming she was a groupie, 2 Chainz asked his good friend Cap 1:

“Is this yo thot?”

Does the question suit the situation? When 2 Chainz told her she was in a ‘blog territory’ rather than running for the door, she decided to give herself a shout out on camera instead! Oh the irony!

“Aww sh-t! This is going on a blog, forreal?! This is going on a blog and you’re really recording? Do I look good? You guys can follow me at Iluvtinaa on Instagram.”

I mean come on, this case can’t be real. It’s not everyday that we get to see what really happens backstage when a rapper is disappointed by a girl he supposedly met on Instagram. However, now that the video has been released it looks like Tina is getting her lawyers involved.

But here’s a twist! According to her Instagram not only is she doing a spread with Vibe Magazine, she revamps herself as ‘#TheNewKimK’ and wishes to get an interview with ‘Breakfast Club’ to tell her side of the story! I guess all publicity really is good publicity!

I feel like @hairweavekiller [2 Chainz] should feel as much embarrassment as I have endured these last couple of days for what he has done to my life, he has not apologized publicly and tries to contact me privately. Everyone re post this at @breakfastclubam @cthagod @angelayee @djenvy because 2 chainz should be the #donkyoftheday let’s get me on the breakfast club so I have a chance to tell my side of the story!

Do you agree with her decision to sue? Or do you think she is suing to become infamous?

How Are People REALLY Discovering New Music? Some Important Numbers to Consider!

Found this great study that breaks down how people discover new music. At first glance, you'll quickly notice that AM/FM radio dominates with 35%, but if you really study the numbers there is more to learn. Here are a couple of key points we pulled from the data.

  • Radio has the biggest slice of the pie, but its still just a slice. A vast majority of people (65% to be exact) rely on sources outside of AM/FM radio to discover new music.
  • 35% of people discover new music through radio but...an equal percentage can be reached by combining Word of Mouth (21%), Youtube (10%) and Facebook (4%). All of which are more accessible for an independent without a huge budget.
  • Many artists are sleeping on the power of Pandora which is a internet station. It trails Youtube by only 1%, but is a platform inherently built to help music listeners discover new music and doesn't require the added expense of producing a music video.
  • Twitter doesn't even show up on the list. Couple that with the recent shutdown of music.twitter.com (a project started just a year ago to help Twitter users discover new music through Twitter) and one could assume that Twitter is not an effective medium for promoting new music.
Be sure to pass this information along through your network and share your thoughts as well. If you repost on your blog be sure to credit

Love & Hip Hop Star Benzino Shot Multiple Times Leaving His Mother’s Funeral"

             from

This is horrifying to say the very least…and we do mean the VERY least! According to rashaentertainment.com , rapper and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Benzino was shot while attending his mother’s funeral and is in critical condition.

Allegedly, Benzino was shot three times while driving away from the funeral in the funeral procession. It is reported that it was his own nephew that did the shooting and that the nephew is currently in custody.

Benzino announced earlier in the week that his mother had passed via his twitter account.
Said Zino,

“God knows I have been through alot in my life, BUT EVERY INCH OF GOOD, KINDNESS AND LOVE IN MY SOUL IS BECAUSE OF THIS WOMAN. A BIG PART OF ME IS LOST NOW AND I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME, MA WORDS CANT EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR YOU.I WILL MISS EVERY BREATHING MOMENT, I DON’T KNOW HOW I WILL CONTINUE KNOWING YOU ARE NOT HERE. Im lost.”

Benzino reportedly traveled back to his hometown of Boston for today’s funeral services and WCVB Boston, is reporting that the local police say one gunshot victim was taken to South Shore Hospital and was still alive.

Witnesses told NewsCenter 5 that the shooting took place during a funeral procession.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said,
“The incident was between two vehicles whose occupants knew each other. The driver of a Bentley shot the driver of a red Dodge SUV, who exited his car and was taken to the Duxbury police station by a passerby. The injured red Dodge SUV driver, who officials say was in his 40s, was then transported by ambulance to the hospital. The Bentley driver has been arrested and will be arraigned Monday on a charge of armed assault with intent to murder.”

There is no word yet from Benzino’s camp, VH1 or Mona Scott Young.

The Urban Daily sends our thoughts and prayers out to Benzino, his family, friends, loved ones and fans. We will continue to update this story as information becomes available.

Eminems-recent-milestones-looking-like-rap-god

EminemIt has been an incredible journey for rap superstar Eminem. A journey that can easily be expressed as starting from the bottom; from 8 mile to an iPod near you. Last week Eminem achieved hip-hop kingpin status as he entered unknown territory for rap. Eminem, arguably a top five rapper dead or alive, has now become the second-best-selling male artist of the SoundScan era.

With the continued success of Slim Shady’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2, his cumulative album sales have reached close to 45 million according to Nielsen SoundScan.  A huge portion of these sales comes from two particular albums for Eminem. Slim Shady’s first major album release, The Marshall Mathers LP released nearly fifteen years ago and 2002’s The Eminem Show.   Both have passed 10 million in sales. What is even more impressive is that all of Eminem’s albums have now each sold more than 2 million in sales.

Slim Shady now joins an elite group of artists. The only artists to have sold more than Eminem include the Beatles, Metallica, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Garth Brooks who leads all artists with nearly 70 million albums sold.

To add more to this already huge week for Eminem, his latest single “Headlights” hit the Hot 100, making Eminem the seventh rapper to score at least 50 Hot 100 chart entries. This feat lands Eminem in yet another elite group, joining the ranks of fellow rappers Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Drake, Kanye West, Ludacris, and T.I.

Days ago in this already remarkable week for Eminem, he and R &B diva Rihanna shared the dates and venues for their summer Monster mini tour.

Rihanna

Rihanna will join Eminem for eight shows with no further dates currently scheduled. These shows will be held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, as well as MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and Comerica Park in Detroit. Eminem and Rihanna are even taking this mini tour cross the border as they visit Logger Sports Grounds in Canada’s British Columbia. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 am local time and can be purchased through Live Nation’s website.

Regardless of your opinion of Eminem, whether Rap God, Rap Genius, or the illest white rapper to ever do it. Numbers don’t lie.

Thank you for allowing us the chance too interview you?

SURE ITS MY PLEASURE & i AM VERY hUMBLY GREATFUL FOR THE CONSIDERATION & ACKNOWLEGEMENT. i am VERY EXCITEd TO INTERVIEW WITH  XS10MAGAZINE.

Tell our readers your whole name please?
AMBER STAR

What style of music do you sing?
WELL I AM VERSITILE & LOV ALL GENRES,But i relate more to hiphop,
rap & Latin/Dance music. But always lov a challenge & like to explore my voice
with different types of genres & Languages.

How long have you been singing for?
I have been singing since i was in middle school around 13, I had stage fright at one point, until i started with talent shows with some friends, that san for fun.

Who is your mentor when it comes to music?
My mentor I would say would be the internet, lol i know it sounds weird but all I know I learned from the web & Articles & how to videos.
Anything you want to learn about is there if you use it properly.

Is it hard singing/rapping in a business taken over by men?
Well, I see it like this, everyone has there own style & swag, which makes all kinds of fan bases for each artist. But in a man's world thru rap, I take it more of a challenge to see just how far i can go. It's a little intimidating but if you know your talent well enough, It should be new grounds for discovery of what you can achive when you  put you mind to it. I look up alot to Missy Elliot when i was younger, I knew she was a beast at her line of work , So i knew there was hope even for women & minorities, especially in the rap/hiphop game.

Do you write your own music?
Up to now I have wrote about 3 songs . Also collaborated with many artists, and writers, I only like to write to the beats I truly connect with. If not I am still open, I just wont be able to write if I dont feel it.

So you are a bilingual artist is that correct?
YES! , I am a Mexican- Woman, I am  fluent in Spanish & English, I lov to sing in both as well, whatever my heart feels  @ the moment  is which language i use , My voice expresses itself differently in each language.!! Plus it opens lots of doors to untapped Markets, & International markets as well.

If you were a super hero who would you be? And why?
LOL , Good question, I would have to say WonderWomen. I would like to be a insperation to women, & help motivate them to
find there own super hero inside. I am lloking this year to do a Women Empowerment group. I like to help the community & children
as well.

Coke or Pepsi?
Niether, lol I dont like soda.. But i am a Fanatic of Ice Tea and H20 with Lemon.

What is your favorite color?
RED,!! :D I've been told it fits my personality, Explosive yet spicy. Oh & Glitter also if at all its a color. lol I like Colorful
an expressive colors.

What is your opinion on today's music industry from back then to now?
I feel that the music industry is easier now than before, Independent wise,
but lots of work, persistence & passion is involved> Also if you believe in yourself
invest in yourself it will be the best thing you ever do, DOORS open up alot after that.

What direction you feel your career is taken you?
I feel I am in a totally different place than what i thought or planned.
Many more doors have opened, I lov to sing its my passion, But at this point I am further than that. I want to make others reach there dreams as well. I am an Unsigned & Independent Bilingual Latina Female TV/RadioHost,Singer,Model,Actress,Producer,Director,Booker,Marketer,Promoter,International Voiceover-commercial talent. Also I am CEO of UNIR1Latino TV/Radio, & AmberStarTV.
Which is why i decided to develop my new network, UNIR1Latino. I wanna show the other side of the BIZ struggles & also the gains and advances one makes, with passion , Dedication, and a humble heart. It's not easy, but its not impossible. Especially for being a women,Minority as well, I feel very proud of what i have acomplished an the irection I am going so far. I thank the Lord & I ask everyday to just give me one more day to enjoy each of my blessing, & for it to never end...lol Because @ this point I feel l am living a dream... It only gets better.

What's made you decide to get into the music business?
I wanted to prove to myself that i can reach my dreams ,no matter the type.
If i pulled this off then I would reach self actualization, Which was what i needed after a rough patch thru the recession in 2007 & lost my job of 7 yrs (Nursing).Music was my hidden talent & true passion so I decided to
challenge myself . Its been overwhelming at times, But I never lost my focus. & here i am today!! I feel like the
happiest women on earth.

If you could do a callabo with any artist who would it be and why?
With Missy Elliot, I know she would bring the beast out of me, lol I really admire her work, Also being a woman with her talents and skills, Makes me know that all is possible, If you believe & work hard.I really look up to her as a multitalented artist. I beleived i could do the same.

What is music to you?
Music is my way of expression, My soul is Music , I had a rough childhood &
Music always rescued me from my depressions or failures, always made me dream that there was more out there than just what was in front of me, It was my excape & my main focus for me when i was younger, Saved me from many , problems and drama as i grew up.

What is hiphop to you?
Hip Hop Is my spunk, I lov to dance to it, My soul loves to feel hiphop,
I turn all attention for that genre, its what i grew up with, so its what defines me
and my music.

Mula an artist coming from RACINE WI thanks making some major moves

BORN ON DECEMBER 8, 1985
MULA AKA WESLEY FISHER WAS BORN ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF RACINE WISCONSIN TO A DOUBLE PARENT HOME.  MULA BEGAN HIS MUSIC CAREER AT AN EARLY AGE RANGING FROM PLAYING INSTRUMENTS AND SINGING IN HIS MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL CHOIRS. ALTHOUGH HIS DREAM WAS TO BE IN THE NFL HE HAS ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR MUSIC.

THIS MULTI TALENTED ARTIST WRITES HIS OWN MUSIC, SINGS, RAPS, AND ALSO ENGINEERS HIS OWN MUSIC WHICH GIVES HIS A UNIQUE BUT POLISHED SOUND.  MULA STARTED WRITING RAP MUSIC WHEN HE WAS FOURTEEN YEARS OLD AS A JOKE IN CLASS WITH ONE OF HIS FRIENDS, LITTLE DID HE KNOW IT WOULD BE HIS CALLING AND PASSION FROM THERE ON OUT. AT THE AGE OF 18 MULA RECORDED HIS FIRST STUDIO SONG NAMED "NIGHTMARES" WHICH GAVE HIM A BUZZ AROUND THE LOCAL AREA OF HIS HOME TOWN.

AFTER HE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL HE ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE IN IOWA WITH A MAJOR IN COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS WITH ONLY ATTENDING COLLEGE FOR ONE YEAR DUE TO FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES MULA MOVED BACK HOME TO START WORKING TO TRY TO SURVIVE.  SLIPPING BACK INTO HIS OLD WAYS MULA INSTANTLY LOOKED FOR A WAY OUT SO HE ATTENDED JOB CORP IN CHICAGO ILLINOIS AND GOT A CERTIFICATION AS A COMPUTER SERVICE TECH, SHORTLY AFTER THAT HE ENLISTED IN THE MILITARY AS A WAY TO CHANGE HIS LIFE. SIX MONTHS WENT BY OF HARD TIMES FOR MULA WHERE HE LOST FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS DUE TO ILLNESS AND STREET VIOLENCE TIL ONE DAY HE CALL MIKE NEELY ON THE PHONE AND ASKED FOR A SECOND CHANCE TO BE REPRESENTED WITH HIS MANAGEMENT TEAM WHO HAS A ROSTER FULL OF CELEBRITY TALENT. MULA SIGNED WITH RMI MANAGEMENT IN FEBRUARY OF 2012 MAKING HOT SINGLES BEING PLAYED ON INTERNET RADIO ALL OVER THE WORLD SINGLES INCLUDE " LETS RIDE", " YA BOY", "THANG 4 U", AND HIS NEWEST SINGLE NAMED NO FORGIVENESS WHICH WILL BE FEATURED ON FREEWAY RICK ROSS'S MIXTAPE AMERICAN GANGSTER AND FRANK LUCAS'S MIXTAPE WHICH WILL ALSO FEATURE HIS FIRST SINGLE "LETS RIDE". DOING SEVERAL MAGAZINE INTERVIEWS AS AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST FROM: HYPE MAGAZINE, HARSH MAGAZINE, THE FAUDESIN ( UNITED KINGDOM ) MULA IS SHOWING THAT HE IS AN INDEPENDENT FORCE TO BE RECOKOND WITH.  ALSO AS AN INDIE ARTIST HE HAS ACCUMULATED A FOLLOWING OF 8,000 PLUS FOLLOWERS ON TWITTER @MULA262. THE MOST FOLLOWERS OF ANY INDIE ARTIST IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN. TEN YEARS OF PREP AND STRUGGLES FINALLY STARTING TO SHOW PROMISE FOR THIS 26 YEAR OLD ARTIST. ALSO BEING THE FEATURED ARTIST ON DAGRHYNDMUSIC.CO  FOR THE WHOLE SUMMER ALSO IS HELPING HIM GO HARDER AND  HARDER.
