XTREME 104 FM ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS #2013ALLSTARMUSICAWARDS


Holding true to form and intent, the 2013 All Star Music Awards Presented by Xtreme 104 FM was a simply fascinating night of celebration and inspiration. Crowning moments widespread, and true unity amongst the cream of the crop that is the Tri-State area's underground music scene. Since its inception, Xtreme 104 FM has been the #1 resource and support system for this demographic which personifies ultimate work ethic and talent, untapped at times but certainly respected alike. Hosted by Chairwoman DJ XXXotic Mami alongside Team Capone funnyman Mr. Commodore, Club XL in times Square was the scene for this incomparable gathering which saw the recognition of artists ranging from #1 Contender to Punch-line of the Year, on down to R&B Male and Female Artists of the Year as well as the award for Blogger of the Year.  With Media Coverage from premier sites and publications such as Hip Hop Tymes, Pow Productions, ODS Media, Enve Online,Wave Magazine, Qui TV, Tha L Spot, Love & Fashion to name a few as well as overall sponsorship from established entities like 3XTD Spa & Salon, C&C Entertainment Firm, Midas Touch, LRL and Associates, Platinum Properties, The Lion's Den, and the well respected Fleet DJs collective. 

Winners on the night included Naza Da Great who scored a hat trick winning Best Collaboration, #1 Contender, and Mixtape of the Year for his Welcome To My Ride PT 2, Melissa B who scored R&B artist of the Year (Female), Mike Lyrik ( Male R&B Artist of the Year), Evan Brown & Music Mystro (producers of the Year), Lord Vital (Punchline Artist of the Year), Pharoah Po (Most Promising Artist of the Year), Zenobia (Model of the Year), Murda Mook and Persia White (Male/ Female Battle Rapper of the Year), Suga Ray (Community Outreach Person of the Year),  Jinx Cruz (Live Performer of the Year) DJ Don Demarco (Mixtape DJ of The Year), Toni Steelz (Female Artist of the Year Hip Hop), Young Ciz (New Artist of the Year), EMF (Male Hip Hop Artist of the Year), Jason Bourne (Blogger of the Year), Say It Aint So DVD( Videographer of the Year) and last but not least the highest honor of the night went to Young Pretty for Overall Artist of the Year (all Genres)

Picking up where we left off with a stellar 2012 showing, 2013 was a step in a major direction for our ever-expanding brand which has reassured if any, doubters about their standing in the media sector of industry; Xtreme 104 FM is a bonafied heavyweight in radio programming, as well as event coordination as the 2013 All Star Awards did not disappoint. EUROSTARS PRESENTS: ONLY HARMONY




Songs in Harmony is the best way to describe this sister. I recently had the pleasure of hosting the Rock For Joy toy drive at Diamond Etched Studios, where this talented songstress absolutely stole the night. Her soulful delivery and pleasant aura had me believing that R&B can be rekindled. Before placing that entire burden on the shoulders of one individual, I do want to speak to her potential to be a star. Backed by her team, EuroStars, Harmony is a diamond in the rough. So often I come across aspiring artists who profess to possess the chords that it takes to strike a match of appeal. Needless to say that is not always the case; in this one, the proof is in the pudding as the cliché goes. Proof positive, check out her latest single Aint Nobody Business

Meet Harmony
 
 
Many artist have struggled in the past with pitch, performance and natural ability to captivate an audience with little to no effort. Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist HARMONY is that and much more. Her music is raw, honest, and as real as one can get.

 Her musical debut began as young as the age of 5, when her kindergarten gym teacher first discovered her singing in the hallways of P.S. 194. It was there she sang for the first time publicly for her kindergarten graduation. HARMONY, continued her musical journey to the Boys Choir of Harlem, where she gained classical training in the prestigious school. She went on to try out for the Hal Jackson Talented Teens Contest, where she won the title of Miss New York State. Later she went on to perform in various venues including the world famous Apollo Theatre and opening up for performing Artist Neyo at Paradise Theatre.

Listening to R&B legends like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, New Edition, SWV, Pattie Labelle, Harmony was destined to pursue a music career. She continues her journey by showing what versatility should be in a overall artist with debuting Mixtape  To the Point, Harmony believes "Nothing worth having comes without hard work"; This lovely songstress is prepared for music's ever changing times, armed with a sensational sultry sound, hard work, and perseverance.

BMB Entertainment Helps Out at WJLB FM "Coats for Kids" Charity Event

 
 
 
BMB Records artists and co owners Charli Baltimore, Trick Trick and CEO Brian Maurice Brown attended Detroit's 31st annual "Coats for Kids" charity event with other celebs Ciara and Mario to help bring warmth to area youth.
 
 
 
 
 
The Motor City-based indie label talked with local WJLB radio station about the success of their imprint and new single, "Hunnits", Charli's current project Hard 2 Kill and their collective passion for giving back to the city of Detroit
 
 
 
 
Mario surprised the children with a live performance and later there was a performance from R&B singer/songwriter from Sweden, Sebastian Mikael
 
 
  
The stars came out to show their love to the people!
 
Baltimore and Trick Trick helped WJLB and the Salvation Army purchase coats for this winter by donating $1,000 each. The generosity of BMB, which stands for Breaking Major Barriers helped raised the grand total of over $70,000! 



The event was a huge success and nearly 3,000 coats will be purchased to keep the children of Detroit warm this winter.
