Holding true to form and intent, the 2013 All Star Music Awards Presented by Xtreme 104 FM was a simply fascinating night of celebration and inspiration. Crowning moments widespread, and true unity amongst the cream of the crop that is the Tri-State area's underground music scene. Since its inception, Xtreme 104 FM has been the #1 resource and support system for this demographic which personifies ultimate work ethic and talent, untapped at times but certainly respected alike. Hosted by Chairwoman DJ XXXotic Mami alongside Team Capone funnyman Mr. Commodore, Club XL in times Square was the scene for this incomparable gathering which saw the recognition of artists ranging from #1 Contender to Punch-line of the Year, on down to R&B Male and Female Artists of the Year as well as the award for Blogger of the Year. With Media Coverage from premier sites and publications such as Hip Hop Tymes, Pow Productions, ODS Media, Enve Online,Wave Magazine, Qui TV, Tha L Spot, Love & Fashion to name a few as well as overall sponsorship from established entities like 3XTD Spa & Salon, C&C Entertainment Firm, Midas Touch, LRL and Associates, Platinum Properties, The Lion's Den, and the well respected Fleet DJs collective.
Winners on the night included Naza Da Great who scored a hat trick winning Best Collaboration, #1 Contender, and Mixtape of the Year for his Welcome To My Ride PT 2, Melissa B who scored R&B artist of the Year (Female), Mike Lyrik ( Male R&B Artist of the Year), Evan Brown & Music Mystro (producers of the Year), Lord Vital (Punchline Artist of the Year), Pharoah Po (Most Promising Artist of the Year), Zenobia (Model of the Year), Murda Mook and Persia White (Male/ Female Battle Rapper of the Year), Suga Ray (Community Outreach Person of the Year), Jinx Cruz (Live Performer of the Year) DJ Don Demarco (Mixtape DJ of The Year), Toni Steelz (Female Artist of the Year Hip Hop), Young Ciz (New Artist of the Year), EMF (Male Hip Hop Artist of the Year), Jason Bourne (Blogger of the Year), Say It Aint So DVD( Videographer of the Year) and last but not least the highest honor of the night went to Young Pretty for Overall Artist of the Year (all Genres)
