A native Hawaiian, but raised in Jersey City, New Jersey; Sharayahas always been an artist at heart. Music has always been prevalent in her life, exposed early by her father who was a member of 90's Hip Hop group Double XX Posse she's always been a natural performer. Looking up to superstars like Missy Elliott, Lil Kim, TLC, Aaliyah, Biggie, Wu-Tang Clan, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson and more, she was a true fan of Hip Hop and R&B. With a very successful career in the dance industry working with the likes of Diddy, Rhianna, Alicia Keys as well as great choreographers like Laurianne Gibson, Fatima Robinson and Jamaica Craft; Sharaya is no stranger to the spotlight. Now is her time to take center stage as Missy "Misdameanor" Elliott's new recording artist. She has a fresh new sound and style, inspired by true Hip Hop and Jersey Club music. She has also spearheaded The "Banji Movement" which encourages the masses to embrace uniqueness and originality, thus birthing the acronym Be Authentic Never Jeopardize Individuality aka BANJI. Considering her background and love for dance Sharaya says, "I just wanna make fun music, Dance is my root so my goal is to get the people dancin again!!!"

"I would say if you ready for something refreshing and creative you should most definitely look out for Sharaya! She's the future…10s across the board!" - Missy Elliott

SoundCloud Is Working on Artists Payouts for Their Most Popular Users…

SoundCloud has gone through a lot of recent changes. Now, SoundCloud has released a new version of their iPhone app that focuses on the user listening experience.

This latest update completely removes the ability to record and upload through the app.

If you need to upload to SoundCloud on the go, some third party apps still offer the feature.

The iPhone app centers around two things:  The music feed, displaying tracks from followed artists, and trending tracks in various genres.

SoundCloud’s co-founder and CTO, Eric Wahlforss, has also told various outlets that SoundCloud is considering a new payout approach.

He says that accounts with millions of followers and listeners can expect some type of future monetization.
