Pepsi Announces New Visual Album Dedicated To The Game Of Football Posted by Ron Fisher


Today Pepsi announced something special. The soft drink manufacturer is presenting to the world the Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game album. The new visual album celebrates the international sights and sounds of football. It is an exclusive collection of 11 songs accompanied by short films that capture the international spirit, sights, and sounds of the world’s most popular game.

The visual album combines today’s rising and chart-topping musical artists with award-winning directors to showcase the intricately intertwined influence and power of music, film, and sport. The Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game includes a roster from around the world including Kelly RowlandJanelle MonáeRita OraDon OmarSantigoldTimbalandR3hab and Jetta alongside regional favorites Pearls Negras (Brazil), Jolin Tsai Yl-ling (China) and Hassan El Shafei (Egypt).

The artists’ will serve as the foundation for these 11 short films and the directors will build on the songs. The crew of dynamic directors includes Spike LeeIdris ElbaJessy TerreroDiego LunaAndy Morahan and The Kolton Brothers among others, whose accompanying short films tell a story inspired by each song.

The complete 11-track Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game album, distributed by Caroline, drops June 9th internationally and June 10th in the U.S. Beginning today, the album is available for pre-sale on iTunes.
