President of Film Music and Publishing since 2010 and former EVP of Film Music at 20th Century Fox, Knobloch is a seasoned veteran working at the intersection of music and film.  His credits include overseeing the music for the highest grossing film of all time, Avatar, the Academy Award winning Titanic, and Universal’s record-breaking, highest-grossing film of its billion-dollar franchise Fast & Furious 6.  At Universal, Mike has overseen all aspects of music for the second-highest grossing stage-play-turned-movie-musical of all-time, Les Misérables and the musical phenomenon, Pitch Perfect — with an Oscar nomination and a multi-platinum single, respectively — both projects continue to rake in record soundtrack sales.  Additional Universal credits include the hit films BridesmaidsTed, the Despicable Me franchise, Snow White and the HuntsmanThe Lorax, Tower Heist and Oblivion
  
Knobloch’s credits from his 14-year tenure at Fox cover a variety of films including the GRAMMY Award winning Walk The Line, platinum & gold soundtracks for the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise,DrumlineThe Devil Wears PradaMarley & Me, and the X-Men and Ice Age franchises.
Mike has served on the National Board of Trustees for the GRAMMYs / National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences since 2011 and previously served as the Los Angeles Chapter President.  Mike is an active supporter of The Academy’s GRAMMY U initiative and other mentoring programs such as National GRAMMY Career Day and has hosted various film screenings and panel discussions.  In 2005, he founded the film-scoring curriculum of the GRAMMY Foundation’s GRAMMY Camp — a summer program that immerses high school students in professional film scoring, among other disciplines of the music industry.  
Knobloch is an active alumnus of Northwestern University and has served on the School of Communications’ Dean’s Advisory Committee since 2000.  He is a host and advocate for that school’s internship program.  
Born and raised in New York, he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and children.
