Lil Wayne Signs Stephanie Acevedo to Young Money
She joins Nicki Minaj, Christina Milian, Chanel West Coast and Shanell
Singer Stephanie Acevedo is the newest signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, the label announced earlier this week.
The confirmation comes after months of photos showing Acevedo posing with YME heads Wayne and Mack Maine, dating back to October last year. Young Money also shared a new video with Acevedo covering Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love," while showing off her figure beachside.
Acevedo is from Miami and of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, according to a post on the local website The 305 from 2013, and she has previously worked as a model, singer and ring-girl with the Championship Fighting Alliance MMA league.
She joins Nicki Minaj, Christina Milian, Chanel West Coast and Shanell on Young Money's roster of female artists.
Young Money, Lil Wayne's imprint on Cash Money Records, is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
