Fox’s Empire Adds More Star Power For Season 2

Fox has announced that Empire, arguably the biggest hit show of the year, will be expanding going into season two this fall.

Empire took television by storm with season that had people all over America glued to their televisions to see Lucious and Cookie’s weekly antics. The makers of empire have announced that season two will expand from 12 to 18 episodes and will be split into two parts; one for the fall and one for the spring.

In addition to the extra episodes Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravits, and Chris Rock will join the cast of Empire as guest roles. Neyo will also be joining the squad by helping to produce some original music for season 2.

It looks like Empire is gearing up to top its last season and more stars may be added to the lineup before season 2 premieres later this year.

Huggy Bear formerly of Starsky&Hutch TV show

A tall, lanky and twinkle-eyed African-American actor with wonderful onscreen charisma, Antonio Fargas has been appearing on stage and screen for nearly 40 years. 

His film debut was in Shirley Clarke's The Cool World (1963), a gritty, uncompromising tale about African-American youth growing up in Harlem, New York. He then made his acting presence felt in many "blaxploitation" films of the early 1970s, including the classic Shaft (1971), the Mafia flick Across 110th Street (1972), the ultra-violent Pam Griervehicle Foxy Brown (1974) and the classic tale of Huckleberry Finn (1975).

Around this time ABC-TV executives were looking for a capable actor to play the role of golden-hearted street informant "Huggy Bear" on Starsky and Hutch (1975), and Fargas scored the role with which he is most closely identified. His career continued to flourish after "Starsky and Hutch" wrapped up after four years, and he has appeared in over 50 movies to date, many TV shows and numerous stage productions. He has played a 90-year-old witch doctor in "The Great White Hope", was in Melvin Van Peebles' "Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death", and appeared in productions of "The Rainmaker", "The Emperor Jones" and "Dream on Monkey Mountain". A strong advocate of the strength and diversity of African-American culture, Fargas holds positions on the boards of Rhode Island's Langton Hughes Center for the Arts and The Martin Luther King Center of Newport.

Hoes and pimps, she says she will never make a sex tape the first time and her she goes again is this what RHOA really do for the cast teach them how to be a hoe?

Reality television has all the drama, comedy, and suspense that you could ask for, but something is missing—THE REALITY.  While reality shows have taken over the primetime market, one has to laugh as sitcoms have been replaced with low budget acting and soap opera-ish plots.  Reality television may have sitcoms in a decline, but TV show characters are at an all-time high.  Perfect example being Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars Mimi Faust and Nikko.  You can’t tell me that those two aren’t feeding us lines.

The LHHA couple’s sex tape is another fine example of acting, from the actual making of the tape to its release.  I’m just not convinced. 

Again we find Mimi and Nikko eating up the spotlight as they appear on Vlad TV to discuss the possibility of putting out another sex tape.  As the couple dismisses the possibility of a second planned sex tape, they did not say it out was out the question at some point down the road, especially if the money is right. While Mimi claims that the they’re not porn stars, I have to question what her definition is, because I see two people who “starred” in a “porn” and made “money” from it as a result.
